Information from provider

ProviderRalf Weiskirchen
Provider affiliationRWTH University Hospital Aachen
Genetic informationThe Csrp2 gene contains six exons coding for a protein of approximately 21 KDa molecular weight. A neomycin resistance cassette was inserted into exon 4 at nucleotide 7292 via homologous recombination.
Phenotypic informationSlight defect of heart function and architecture. In this regard it resembles the Csrp3/MLP knock-out mouse.
Breeding historyThe strain was backcrossed (N10) and is homozygous for the knock-out construct.
