Information from provider

Providerfrancoise POIRIER
Provider affiliationUMR 7592 CNRS-Université Paris Diderot, Institut Jacques Monod
Genetic informationAs described in Gendronneau 2015, C57BL/6;DBA/2 oocytes were microinjected with a construct containing the rat galectin-7 cDNA placed downstream of the keratin14 (K14) promoter (Saitou et al., 1995).
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Normal lifespan, mild epidermis defects.

Heterozygous:
Normal lifespan, mild epidermis defects.
Breeding historyFounder animals carrying the transgene were mated with C57BL/6 individuals and two independent K14-galectin-7 transgenic lines. Tg34 was established after eight successive backcrosses on the C57BL/6 background.
