Genetic informationThe tetracycline operator drives GFP expression in the presence of doxycycline. Three transgenic lines carrying the Tet-inducible TRE-GFP reporter construct were generated by microinjection. Analysis of GFP expression in the liver of adult mice treated with Dox showed that TRE-GFP line 2 was induced more efficiently than TRE-GFP lines 1 and 3. Thus, TRE-GFP line 2 was retained and used as a reporter line in further studies.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
no overt phenotype

Heterozygous:
no overt phenotype
