Alternative name | chylous ascites |
Strain type | Induced Mutant Strains : Chemically-induced |
Allele/Transgene symbol | Flt4Chy |
Gene/Transgene symbol | Flt4 |
Information from provider
Provider | Martin FRAY |
Provider affiliation | Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell |
Phenotypic information | Milky abdomen shortly after birth; (abdomen, feet) chylous ascites. From crosses of 3H1 females to heterozygous males, approx. 40% of the offspring exhibited the milky abdomen phenotype; of these, about 50% survived through to weaning age. |
