Phenotypic information | Trap1 is mouse cancer-germline gene P1A encoding antigenic peptide P1A3543 presented by H-2Ld. It is expressed in testis, placenta and a subpopulation of thymic medullary epithelial cells. Both male and female Trap1/P1A-KO mice were fertile. Compared to wild type mice, Trap1/P1A-KO mice generated a slightly higher frequency of P1A3543 specific CD8 T cells in response to P1A-expressing tumors and showed increased capacity to reject spontaneously P1A-expressing tumors. |
