Genetic informationThis project is conducted to develop a mouse line carrying the human chymase 1 (CMA1) cDNA under the control of an ubiquitous promoter. This model is developed in order to allow the overexpression of the human CMA1 gene. This model has been developed using the "Quick Knock-inTM" approach. The hCMA1 cDNA transgene was introduced into the Hprt1 locus by knock-in using genOway's ready to use "Quick Knock-inTM" targeting vector. In addition, the expression was conditionally turned on using genOway's floxed transcriptional STOP cassette. The expression of the transgene was induced through removal of this cassette following cre recombinase action by breeding the chimeras with either ubiquitous CMV-cre or tissue-specific cre recombinase-expressing mice.

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen embryos. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
