Information from provider

ProviderAlain-Pierre Gadeau
Provider affiliationINSERM U828
Genetic informationThis allele has an insertion of about 6.4Kbp including the pBI-G plasmid in which the coding sequence of Spp1/osteopontin gene was introduced. Crossing with cell specific promoter-tTA led to lineage expressing Spp1/osteopontin in the specific cell.
Phenotypic informationTet-OPN mice have no phenotype since the transgene is expressed only when mice have also tTA expression.
Breeding historyOriginal background: (C57BL/6 x CBA)F2. Transgenic mice were immediately crossed with C57BL/6. The current generation is N12.
