Genetic information	Alpha-MHC-tTA mice contain the cardiac specific alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter driving the tetracycline transactivator (tTA). The murine line expresses tTA transactivator specifically in cardiomyocytes. This allows inducible expression of TetO responder gene in the heart with the tet-off system.
