Phenotypic informationThe homozygous mutant mice exhibited a decreased sensitivity to acute pain, increased serum IgG1and an increased percentage of peripheral blood CD4+ cells when compared with their wild-type littermates and the historical mean. RT-PCR analysis revealed that the transcript was absent in the homozygous mutant mice.

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.
