Phenotypic information | The homozygous mutant mice exhibited increased peripheral blood percentages of CD4 cells and decreased B cells when compared with their wild-type littermates and the historical means. Decreased IgG1 response to ovalbumin was noted in (-/-) mice. In addition, the male mutants exhibited signs of growth retardation, including decreased mean body weight and length, total tissue mass, and lean body mass. RT-PCR analysis revealed that the transcript was absent in the homozygous mutant mice. |
