Genetic information | A recombination vector containing the K5 promoter (from Dr Manfred Blessing, Joannes Gutemberg University, Mainz, Germany) and the PolyA+ signal was used. Mouse DeltaNp63alpha cDNA was tagged at the N-terminus (hemagglutinin-antigen, HA) and cloned into the vector using ClaI restriction sites located between the promoter and the polyA+ cassette. The fragment containing the expression cassette (K5promoter/DeltaNp63alpha/ polyA+ signal) was released using KpnI. |
Phenotypic information | None. |
Breeding history | Heterozygous mice are bred with wild-type mice and transgenic mice are selected upon genotype screening. |
