Provider affiliationGEM 2358, CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique)
Genetic informationNOD congenic strain with the distal chromosome 1 from C57BL/6 line 2 and Cd1d knock-out mutation.
Phenotypic informationThis line bears the main QTL controlling serum levels of IgG1 and IG2b in NOD mice. The same interval also controls severity of experimental arthritis, number and function of invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells, IgE serum levels and increase in resistance to endotoxinic shock.
Breeding history20 generations of backcross followed by sister-brother matings. Selection of subcongenics by additional backcrosses.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen embryos. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
