Genetic informationThe line was obtained by microinjection of a circular murine BAC transgene (RP23-109L9), previously modified by recombineering at the ATG of the Nrf2f2 gene of a Cre-F3-ERT2-F3 dual cassette followed by a roxed PGK-Tn5-Kana/NeoR cassette. The genetic background of the fertilized oocytes was C57BL/6N. The line was then maintained in a C57BL/6N genetic background. The roxed PGK-Tn-Kana/NeoR cassette was not removed. The subline 40 was analyzed and cryopreserved. The number of transgenic copies integrated into the genome was estimated to be one per ddPCR. The corresponding integration site was not searched. The expression of cre mRNA was observed at low level in heart, ovary and uterus (respectively 5, 1 and 2% of Nr2f2 endogenous expression).
