Genetic information | This is a cre and flp deleter mouse line generated on a pure BALB/cN inbred background, as a tool for cassette deletion while maintaing a pure BALB/cN background. It contains a CAG-Cre-2A-Flpo-2A-EYFP cassette with an inserted roxed selection (NeoR) cassette and is located in the Hprt1 gene on the X chromosome. Maternal contribution observed when used as a cre deleter. Both cre and flpo recombinases are active but cre-mediated excision occurs first when bred with lines containing both floxed and flipped sequences. For detailed information on the genetic description of this strain, please have a look at this report. |
