Genetic informationDeletion at level of the DNA dimerization domain of the rat glucocorticoid receptor (GR) gene. This mutation was described in Ponce de León et al. 2014 as the 11.4, -6 bp deletion and consists of a 7 bp deletion leading to an out-of-frame deletion causing absence of the GR protein product. This mutation leads to a formal GR knockout. The purpose of this line is to assess the function of GR monomers in vivo.

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.
