| Genetic information | The Tmem45b Cre line is a BAC transgenic in which a fragment containing the Cre-SV40 pA together with Frt-kanamycin cassette-Frt was introduced in exon 2 of the murine Tmem45b gene within BAC clone RP24-249I6. The kanamycin cassette was removed from the recombinant BAC by flp-mediated recombination. The recombinant clone was verified by PCR and end-sequencing and then injected into fertilized eggs for transgenic mouse production. |
