Provider affiliationInstitut Curie
Phenotypic informationThe H (high antibody-responder) progenitors of F1 hybrids were derived from the H subline made coisogenic for the L (low antibody-responder) line H-2 haplotype by 12 consecutive backcrosses. Four consecutive backcrosses towards the L line and one intercross yielded LcH18 population. Mice were individually tested for immune phenotype: antibody titres against SRBC (sheep red blood cells), at different times after optimal (5.108 SRBC/mouse) immunization. The LcH (low congenic to high) 18 strain has the chromosomal region flanked by two microsatellites D18Mit19 and D18Mit12 (at 2 and 12 cM from centromere, respectively) that are linked with Ab (quantitative antibody) responsiveness.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
