Genetic informationSprague Dawley rat. Tandem duplication of the genetic interval between Lipi and Zfp295 genes using CRISPR/Cas9 engineering. We targeted the genetic interval borders from one allele and the CRISPR/Cas9 system allowed us to cut and transpose those sequences to the same locus on the second allele. This way we obtained tandem duplications of a 24.4Mb region. For the technic used on all our rat models see PMID:28266534
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
No homozygous rat produced.

Heterozygous:
Hypofertility in males.
Breeding history1 backcross on Sprague Dawley background
