Genetic informationKnock-in mice in which the endogenous PIK3CD/p110delta PI3K gene is mutated so that it now encodes a p110delta protein with (1) the D910A mutation in the ATP binding site, converting it to a kinase-dead p110delta protein which is expressed at the same level as wild-type p110delta; (2) a C-terminal Myc-epitope tag. Backcrossed onto BALB/c background.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Mice have altered immune system and can develop colitis.

Heterozygous:
Mice show intermediate phenotypes between homozygous knock-in and wild-type but this has not been extensively characterised (see Fig. 2A in PMID:16179367)
Breeding historyBackcrossed onto BALB/c for more than 10 generations.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen embryos. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
