Information from provider

Providermanuela pellegrini
Provider affiliationCNR-IBCN
Genetic informationIRES-Cre-Neo fragment of the PL459 plasmid (Liu et al., 2003), flanked by two homology regions of the Spo11 gene immediately downstream from the stop codon site, was electroporated into bacteria containing the Spo11 BAC RP23-20N4. The construct was electroporated in (L)-arabinose inducible EL250 330G11 bacteria for flp-mediated Neo deletion.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Cre transgene driven by Spo11 regulatory elements is functionally expressed in vivo, in both male and female mice starting from the meiotic stages of gametogenesis. Founders gave germline transmission and the expression of the transgene was identical in several founder lines.

Heterozygous:
Cre transgene driven by Spo11 regulatory elements is functionally expressed in vivo, in both male and female mice starting from the meiotic stages of gametogenesis. Founders gave germline transmission and the expression of the transgene was identical in several founder lines
