| Genetic information | This mouse strain is homozygous for floxed Kcns1 and hemizygous for AdvCreERT2 BAC transgene. The BAC transgene was introduced to a 129 mouse line and the resulting line was then backcrossed to C57BL/6J. The targeting of Kcns1 was performed in 129S7/SvEv ES cells. The resulting line was then crossed to a flp recombinase-expressing line on a C57BL/6J background (code H109) to remove the neo cassette. The stocks were then intercrossed (and backcrossed) to produce the AdvCre-Kcns1 line (on a mixed 129 & C57BL/6J background). |
