Two Networking and Outreach Events Define the Start of Summer

July brought us two fantastic opportunities for networking and engagement. On Monday, 1 July, we had the opportunity to present INFRAFRONTIER at the 48th Congress of FEBS (Federation of European Biochemical Societies) in Milan. Alongside three other ERICs—EURO-BioImaging, EU-OPENSCREEN, and Instruct—we organised a special session titled New opportunities for researchers – Research infrastructures in imaging, structural biology, human disease modelling, and compound screening. In addition to the audience we reached during the session, we were also invited to write a short outreach article for the FEBS network, which can be read HERE.

On Friday, 5 July, we were invited to attend the event organised by the REPO 4EU platform in Munich: “The 3rd International Conference on Systems Medicine, AI & Drug Repurposing”. It was very interesting to introduce our infrastructure to a community specialised in drug repurposing, as it sparked fantastic ideas and potential collaborations that we believe could be very enriching for INFRAFRONTIER.
