Showcasing INFRAFRONTIER at the ESHG Conference in Glasgow
Glasgow was full of sunshine for the European Society of Human Genetics Conference 2023 (ESHG 2023) where over 3000 in person and 1000 on-line delegates gathered for this annual meeting dedicated to showcasing new developments in the field.
The meeting was held at the Exhibition Centre of the Scottish Event Campus where an extensive area was shared by corporate exhibitors and scientific posters making the atmosphere vibrant with new research and industry offerings.
INFRAFRONTIER could not miss this opportunity to inform the community of their expanded service base and their increasing support for preclinical work and modelling of human disease. Representatives from the Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell Deb Bogani and Jale Sahin presented an information poster full of infographics and details of the current service provision and were excited to be part of one of the very busy poster sessions of the conference.
Despite the focus of INFRAFRONTIER activities on mouse and in vitro models, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of interest. We were approached by a number of scientists who were unaware of our work and others who only knew of a small section of our activities.
A successful experience fantastically completed by the coolest conference dinner at SWG3! Glasgow really knows how to entertain its guests! Until next time…
