Genetic informationThe line was obtained by microinjection of a circular human BAC transgene (RP11-128I16) previously modified by recombineering at the ATG of the FABP4 gene of a rabbit-b-globin intron-CreERT2 cassette followed by a flipped PGK-Tn5-Kana/NeoR cassette. The genetic background of the fertilized oocytes was FVB/N. The founder was then backcrossed in a C57BL/6J genetic background. The subline 24.12/13 was analyzed and cryopreserved. The information available on the characterization of the line, e.g. expression analysis, histology, paper reference, is available on the web page linked here.
