Genetic informationConditional knock-in of the Tid (Dnaja3) IC splice form (GenBank Acc. Nr.: AF325535; PubMed ID:11116152) into Gt(ROSA)26Sor, homozygous. The cDNA encoding the Tid splice form was cloned into the pRAPIDflirt vector. The structure of the targeting vector is as follows: Gt(ROSA)26Sor::CAG–NeoR–WSS/STOP–Tid splice form-IRES–EGFP. The NeoR-WSS/STOP cassette is floxed. Thus, the activation of Tid expression only occurs after cre-mediated excision of the cassette. Because of the EGFP-coding sequence the mutant mice express it, too. To generate the knock-in mutant line Bruce 4 ES cells (C57BL/6-derived) were used. Recombinant ES cells were injected into C57BL/6 albino blastocysts. For GLT chimeric males were mated with C57BL/6 albino females.

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen sperm. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
