Using a microscopy correctly saves time, avoids eyestrain and avoiding the presence of artifacts in the final image. This course covers the development of the microscope, and best practice principles of microscopy.

Following the course, you will be able to:

  • Set up a Brightfield microscope for Köhler illumination
  • Understand how a microscope forms an image
  • Know when to use fluorescence and confocal microscopes
