Ziel dieses Kurses ist die Vermittlung von Fachkenntnissen und Fertigkeiten, die für einen verantwortungsvollen und tierschutzgerechten Umgang mit Versuchstieren erforderlich sind.
Der Kurs soll grundlegendes Wissen hinsichtlich des praktischen Arbeitens mit den Labortieren Maus, Ratte und Kaninchen liefern (“handling”, Fixations- und Zwangsgriffe, verschiedene Blutentnahmetechniken, Applikation von Substanzen, Inhalations- und Injektionsnarkose etc.), sowie theoretisches Wissen im Zusammenhang mit tierexperimentellen Arbeiten vermitteln (Biologie von Maus, Ratte und Kaninchen, Zucht und Haltung von Labortieren, Projektplanung, Verfassen von Genehmigungsanträgen, Tierversuchsgesetz, Statistik etc.).

Der Einführungskurs umfasst 40 Stunden (ca. 20 Stunden Theorie + 20 Stunden Praxis).

GV-SOLAS Certified Course for Training Individuals in Animal Experimentation (in accordance with FELASA 2015 Recommendations)

The goal of this course is to impart the necessary expertise and skills required for responsible and animal welfare-compliant handling of laboratory animals. The course provides fundamental knowledge for practical work with lab animals such as mice, rats, and rabbits (“handling,” restraint techniques, various blood sampling methods, substance administration, inhalation and injection anesthesia, etc.), as well as theoretical knowledge related to animal experimentation (biology of mice, rats, and rabbits, breeding and housing of lab animals, project planning, writing approval applications, animal experimentation law, statistics, etc.).

The introductory course consists of 40 hours (approximately 20 hours of theory and 20 hours of practical training).

• Members of other universities: 1250€
• Employees from industry and business, others: 1710€
