‘Home Cage Monitoring in Behavioral Phenotyping: Opportunities and Feasibility’
Considering the growing interest in Home Cage Monitoring, this workshop aims at giving an overview of major International initiatives to promote the use of this tool in behavioural studies. The main topics will cover the welfare and translational aspects of HCM providing examples of recent achievements in the use of HCM in models of diseases and specific behaviors. A discussion will be stimulated to evaluate current opportunities and the feasibility of HCM as a novel and complementary tool in behavioral phenotyping with particular attention to its feasibility in terms of data/video handling and analysis. The workshop should be of interest to:
